Academics

The district curriculum is taught in all grades. As a Dual Language Immersion program, our language allocation is as follows: In Kindergarten, 80 percent of the day is conducted in Spanish and 20 percent in English. For first grade, the breakdown is 70 percent Spanish and 30 percent English. Second grade is 60 percent Spanish and 40 percent English, and third through fifth grade is conducted 50 percent in Spanish and 50 percent in English. For reading, current district approved curriculum-Into Reading and Arriba La Lectura, and Fundations.
